Do you like wine? Do you like cake? Most importantly, do you love your Mom? If you answered “YES!” to any of these questions, then come run this Mother Lover! Please join us for our first annual Mother’s Day race, “The Mother Lover” 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Cake Walk! This event will kick off Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. It is an off road course which will run through the beautiful countryside of Rutland Farms and is designed to be more fun than fast.
5K Runners (age 21 & older): Set up like a wine tasting on the go, we will have several stops stationed along the course where you can sample some of our best local wines here in South Georgia along with some sweet treats from our farm bakery.
1 Mile Fun Run/Cake Walk Participants: Throughout the course, runners/walkers will get to visit stations and taste test some of our most popular homemade cakes fresh from the bakery here at Rutland Farms.
Both races are meant to bring together mothers, daughters, sons, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and really whoever you want to bring to celebrate that special someone in your life this Mother’s Day! Eat, Drink, Run or walk, and have Fun living your best lives while running this Mother Lover!
